Happy Birthday David!

David turned nine this year, which he thinks is awesome! He was excited to get a LEGO B-Wing ship and an encyclopedia about the solar system.

He also loved his chocolate cake with strawberries.

Corah is Three Months Old

Corah is now three months old. She is getting super-chunky, but she makes it look good. Soon she'll have enough energy stored up that she'll have plenty to use when she starts crawling.

Pinewood Derby

David had his first pinewood derby ever this morning. Apparently this was the first year of making cars for all the fathers cub scouts in our pack. There were only three scouts racing, so they all took turns running on different lanes to give everyone a fair chance. David's car came in first most often, so he was declared the winner.

At the end we ran a race with some extra cars that were brought along. David's car is in the lane closest to the camera.

Happy Easter

The kids had a great time today going around our yard to find the eggs that were hidden.

David and Analeigh gave Cailainn a head start, then made a good race out of seeing who could find the most.

Then we came back inside, combined all their findings together to make it fair, then had a feast. Then Cailainn decided to answer the age-old question of which goes in the mouth first - the peep or the egg? Apparently they both go in at the same time.
