David's Baptism

David's baptism was today after church. It was a fantastic experience, along with being a little weird knowing we're old enough to have a baptized child. Anyway, here he is with his dad in his baptismal clothes.

Happy Birthday David!

David's birthday was today. He is now 8 years old and will be baptized tomorrow. In honor of the occasion, he received his own set of scriptures to mark the occasion (he also got some LEGO Star Wars toys).

David enjoyed his cake in the evening. It was an extra special cake because we decided to splurge on an ice cream cake. It was "awesome!" according to David.

While eating hard boiled eggs, Cailainn was alerted that there was only one more left. However, she was told that she needed to finish the egg she currently had first. So, into her mouth went the egg...

Tagging the Minivan

Perhaps you are familiar with how gangs "tag" certain areas of the city in order to claim ownership of the area. Today, Analeigh tagged the inside of our minivan... with David's name. Odds are she won't be joining a gang anytime soon.

School Carnival

Today was the elementary school's carnival. It was loads of fun for all involved, but the kids were happiest to be able to ride the horses.
