Raingutter Regatta

David participated in his first Raingutter Regatta this evening for his Cub Scout activity. He did pretty well for himself, coming in second place. If you look closely (by clicking on the picutre and making it larger), his mast proudly bears the emblem of the Galactic Empire from Star Wars.

Selling Popcorn

Since David is now enrolled in scouting he is able to engage in the proudest of scouting traditions: selling popcorn. Our church troop/pack reserved some time to sell in front of Wal-Mart and David used his adorable face to get people to come over to the table to buy.

River Walks

Sometimes when our family goes on walks around town, we stop off at the river to see how high the water is. Then we throw leaves and sticks into the river to watch them float by. Today the water level was higher then normal, so it added some more fun.
